We are not literary critics … nor historians, nor archivists. We cannot tell you where this blog will fall in the pantheon of the American notebook. We cannot illuminate the context of its work, or its roots in the folk and literary traditions of our great nation ….
BUT WE FUCKING LOVE WORDS … and so we can tell you what we believe: We believe we should use all the words we’ve got. Besides, there are damn few words that anybody understands.
We are three friends who are opinionated enough to think we’ll have something to say and pompous enough to think you’ll want to read it. We’ll say it under our own individual bylines … at various times, on various days. We hope you’ll learn our voices, and we hope you’ll enjoy it all.
